Vicki Wood
I live on a small farm located on Valley Road in north Mississippi. At one time it was a dirt road and has always been the exact point stretching out like a line marking where the beautiful rolling hills meet the vast flat delta lands.
I have horses, dogs, and cats, mostly all rescue, and an occasional coyote drifting through. We are located just outside a small farming community, Charleston, where my family has lived for generations. And, no matter where I have lived before, many metropolitan areas, or where I might live again, this is home. It is a place to relax and be creative.
I have a BFA, several law licenses, and a master's in information & library science. Mostly, I like to paint. I like to create original pieces in my own style from my own ideas. My work is colorful and creative, trying to capture a certain moment or feeling.
My paintings have found homes across this country and internationally. It has been part of gallery exhibits and featured on Daily Paintworks. It has become part of existing collections and I am particularly proud to say that my work has inspired others to begin collecting simply because they enjoy it.
